Hi, I’m the developer of wordpressjob.com – glad you like it! Can you tell me what RSS reader you were having problems with?
Some of the feed items coming in from other sources are causing the feed not to validate, but it’s working fine for me in Google Reader until I come up with a solution to that.
Thanks for your help! Any other suggestions, job sources you’d like to see added, etc are of course welcome as well.
Hello Logan,
Thanks for creating the site. I think it’s a great idea.
My Liferea feed reader refuses to recognize it, as does the Sage Firefox extension and Flock. The items don’t even show up for both Firefox 2 and 3 if you view the feed directly (although you can see the the XML if you view source).
Aren’t you importing each job listing as a WordPress post? If so, then my suggestion is that you just use the standard WordPress feed for those posts, but change the permalink so that it points to the original source, just as you’re doing in your template. That should standardize the feed.
