My primary concern was to get the plugin just working and clearing out most bugs. I know there are some compatibility issues with other plugins like WP OpenID which need to be solved. Support for gettext localization is planned, but wasn’t a priority during development.

Indeed, I’ve been working with Dries to create the plugin and continue to do so.

I’m sure the plugin will work on non-English websites, but it doesn’t use the WordPress gettext localization, which would make translating the plugin very simple.
